Warme’s new song “New Man” is an honest portrayal of a dark subject. Based on the heroin problems of one of the band members this track is powerfully emotional and sets a very different tone in comparison to their last release “Council House Opera”.
The song starts of slowly and carried by a melancholic gravity that suggests the struggle someone goes through during a drug addiction. It then progressively builds up to a more hopeful and brighter atmosphere. Warme have captured the story of overcoming tough times and recovery perfectly. It’s a song of hope and strength and the personal touch the band puts into it makes it all the more authentic and interesting.
