In ‘side by side’ headcage create a sound that fuses all the best parts of alt-rock and emerges slick and stylish whilst still tenaciously gritty. Taking influence from the likes of Fightstar, Breaking Benjamin and Underoath, headcage are creating their own space in the alt rock scene.
Detailing their brand-new effort, the band explained: “We make this music because we all love it. To us there’s nothing better in this world than loud, aggressive rock music and we’re incredibly happy we’ve found the people and the space to make it.“
‘side by side’ raises the tension as it progresses, with the contagious gale-force energy kept at a high level for almost the entirety of the single.
