Brighton-born, London-based artist Sophie Bond, better known by her stage name IYAMAH, has taken the music world by storm with her unique sound and powerful message.
Her latest single, “Gemini Guy,” is set to be released on Friday 8th December, marking another impressive addition to her collection. Inspired by the concept of duality within astrology, “Gemini Guy” explores the idea that people often have two sides to them.
Carrying through a similar theme, IYAMAH’s upcoming album ‘In Two Worlds’ is set to be released in March 2024. In her own words, IYAMAH explains the inspiration behind “Gemini Guy” and its connection to her upcoming project: “Through this experience, I found myself thinking about how relationships often can highlight parts of ourselves which we didn’t see before – our two sides. We are all mirrors, and often we choose to see and show only a part of something, rather than in its entirety.”
With over 17 million streams and features on popular stations BBC 1Xtra and The Joe Budden Podcast, IYAMAH has been gaining recognition from listeners and industry professionals.
