Shyfrin Alliance will release their second album, In the Shadow of Time, on November 14, 2025. Guided by the project’s motto—Music of the Mystic, Mystics of the Music—founder Eduard Shyfrin channels big ideas into a compact cycle of seven blues-rock pieces that revolve around one subject: time.

The new record follows the momentum of 2024’s Upside Down Blues, which earned radio play across the US, UK, and Europe and surpassed 500,000 streams on Spotify. For the follow-up, Shyfrin—an award-winning author, businessman, and scientist—recorded in Paris with top French rock musicians at studios Barillet, Ferber, and Grand Armee. The result is a tightly crafted set that balances muscular grooves with thoughtful writing, anchored by Shyfrin’s distinctive bass-baritone.

Each track examines a different facet of time. Buddha Blues leads the way with bright guitar lines, piano, Hammond organ, and a gospel-blues chorus framing a simple, uplifting idea: time heals. The title song turns darker, envisioning time as a shapeless force pressing on mortal lives, all captured in a dramatic soundscape of surging drums and cavernous low end—an image Shyfrin likens to abstract expressionism, where the figure is felt more than seen.

The album extends Shyfrin’s ongoing exploration of Kabbalah and science, also central to his Amazon bestselling book From Infinity to Man: The Fundamental Ideas of Kabbalah Within the Framework of Information Theory and Quantum Physics. “I don’t think there exists an album dedicated purely to the topic of time,” he says. “I may always be afraid to enter new areas, but I will always enter them—even if it means daring to hit the Wall of Time.”

A bold concept delivered with clear songwriting and heavy-hitting performances, In the Shadow of Time marks a confident next chapter for Shyfrin Alliance.
